Faculty and Staff Fitness Program

Cougar Fit and Indoor Cycling

These classes are a part of our dedicated faculty and staff only group fitness program.  Currently, we offer Cougar Fit and Indoor Cycling.  You can purchase the faculty and staff group fitness pass on the CRS Marketplace.  Purchasing of this pass is good for the duration of the semester and grants you access to all faculty and staff only classes.  Also available is a single session drop-in pass.

Cougar Fit is a circuit training style class using a high intensity interval training method. Instructors will choose a series of different exercises that target muscle groups of the upper and lower body along with the core area (abdominal and lower back).  Each exercise will be performed in an interval fashion with a work period followed by a rest period.  This method allows people of different fitness levels to participate and adjust the intensity to meet their ability.  The primary focus of this class is to provide a fitness challenge while emphasizing injury prevention through correct form and technique.

Indoor Cycling is our version of the popular indoor cycling fitness classes.  The workout also includes brief core work and light stretching.  This class is limited based on size and requires a reseveration.
